Who do you think is the better dancer between these two?

Beyoncé. Britney dances like a cheerleader smh lol.

I think Brit was a better dancer at her prime, but I don't think Bey "tried too hard" with her choreography. Both were excellent, probably the best pop girl dancers of their time.

Oops just noticed I made a typo. I've seen people criticize Beyonce's dancing and calling it try-hard but its usually from a niche group of people (Army + Navy).

Britney was amazing honestly.

I like Britney more than Beyoncé, but Britney is probably the most overrated dancer ever, and her dancing is largely carried by nostalgia. She's not really a natural dancer, and you can often see her counting her steps, even during what's considered her "prime."

Beyonces best credit to fame for good dancing skills is obviously Single Ladies, but outside of that, her Run The World video, Formation choreography, her Ring the Alarm VMAs performance especially that back breaking section, but her best dancing skills to me were shown during Lose My Breath music video, the isolations, the legwork, it was all there.

But prime Britney was something else, the grace and elegance plus sharpness of her choreo was truly something else, add to that her gymnast background and it was truly a sight to behold.

Prime Britney will always win the vs for dance conversation, the only popgirl superior to her in dancing across the board is Tate McRae but thats like saying a Toyota Supra isnt fast enough to catch a Bugatti Veyron. Duh. Britney ftw!

My honest answer, both amazing back then, both slightly slowed down by time now, but if I look at how they dance now it shows that Beyonce is actually the better dancer, even though comparison between stage and insta is not fair

Yeah I always thought her dancing was overrated as hell, love her though. I think it's comparison to what she does now vs what she used to. I'd say she was good enough

OT: It's Britney. Beyonce has better choreography, but Britney is just so insanely fluid and has a very clear background in gymnastics.

That being said, everything from the OP to the poll options makes it very clear that this is a Little Monster set-up to try and get the Britney stans to fight the Hive for them and it's not going to happen.

I prefer Beyonce's style of dancing. It's more natural and flowing. Britney was extremely technical with her moves. Both amazing though.

i never understood people who say Britney is a good dancer....she looks very much as if se is counting her steps and doing an aerobic routine. i think it is white people's idea of what a good dancer is because they dont follow any other black artists.

both are great but technical wise I have to give it to Britney whereas Beyoncé is a singer first dancer second

Both amazing - I think I would probably give Beyoncé the very slightest edge because I think her movement has appeared slightly more fluid and tight. Not that her choreography throughout time has been easy, but a fair bunch of it doesn't appear super challenging to learn / be able to perform. However the Baby Boy music video backward roll and Run The World Girls choreo (particularly the foot movement) appear challenging and are very impressively executed.

I think Britney had some choreos that were very challenging and very fast (Slave, Me Against The Music) and arguably harder than many of Beyoncé's, and she was a gynamist which probably helped her pull off complicated movements. Britney's prime only stretched 5-6 years too so that makes it tough to compare them.

I like both as dancers but I have to give it to Beyonce. She has grown as a dancer ( Formation tour choreography was immaculate).

It depends what type of choreography you like more.

Beyonce's was more fluid, while Britney's was more technical with sharp moves.
