Renaissance! Quite frustrating during its run, but in hindsight it was amazing - top notch music, amazing tour, vocals, cultural impact, no1 song, critics... Frustration because of the visuals and lack of promotion. But in hindsight, amazing.

depends how you look at it. it is a very important era, as it cemented her as a global superstar, gave some classics as well. we had some of her best live performances, she pushed herself to new heights as a performer. in terms of quality and creativity of the music alone, as an album, it is perhaps her lest-best work. quite commercial, full of fillers, mainstream. not an album i care about to listen to nowadays, but it was a very important, even crucial era for beyonce and super exciting as a fan.

i like the song. dont think it is a great frist single material, but i like it. video is bad, so pointless. budget is not a problem, but no story (that makes sense) and terrible execution - it looks so plastic and that makes it cheap, inspite all the budget....looks like a video set. and she looks scarily fragile.

So many brilliants songs, impossible to choose one. It is more what you vibe with on any given moment.... I could make arguments for nearly all songs why each one of them is the best one. However, All up in your mind and Thique do stand out among the rest as weaker songs, I would have scrapped them from the album if possible. not that they are bad but not great for bey and Rena standards. Exceptional album in any case.

people really underestimate what it takes to be able to do stadiums, while nowadays it seems super easy for new girls to sell out arenas, a feat impossible 10-15 years ago, stadiums tours are reserved for top tier established artists. and that is for a reason, it is just too expensive and complex if you cannot guarantee each stadium at least 80% sold out. and with what hits would she do that exactly? maybe 10 years, who knows.

i dont know, this is hard... it is like bottom of the barrel competition. at least at one point Rihanna showed some progress. Rihanna also has a more pleasant tone, which can mask some of the vocal pains. Katy's voice has more power, but gosh it is so bad and i think she is more prone to fails.

yup, she found a great balance on CCT. CIL was one of the worst songs this tour, the remix just did not work. ....and she seemed to be performing the song just because ....it is CIL. this is what happens when people start making all sort of crazy theories about the release date. she never ever communicated anything, so there is no delay, just another failed fan made theory.
