Renaissance! Quite frustrating during its run, but in hindsight it was amazing - top notch music, amazing tour, vocals, cultural impact, no1 song, critics... Frustration because of the visuals and lack of promotion. But in hindsight, amazing.

depends how you look at it. it is a very important era, as it cemented her as a global superstar, gave some classics as well. we had some of her best live performances, she pushed herself to new heights as a performer. in terms of quality and creativity of the music alone, as an album, it is perhaps her lest-best work. quite commercial, full of fillers, mainstream. not an album i care about to listen to nowadays, but it was a very important, even crucial era for beyonce and super exciting as a fan.

i like the song. dont think it is a great frist single material, but i like it. video is bad, so pointless. budget is not a problem, but no story (that makes sense) and terrible execution - it looks so plastic and that makes it cheap, inspite all the budget....looks like a video set. and she looks scarily fragile.

So many brilliants songs, impossible to choose one. It is more what you vibe with on any given moment.... I could make arguments for nearly all songs why each one of them is the best one. However, All up in your mind and Thique do stand out among the rest as weaker songs, I would have scrapped them from the album if possible. not that they are bad but not great for bey and Rena standards. Exceptional album in any case.
