  1. @RideOrDie confirmed this, so it's definitely coming. It might just be a global release instead of local.
  2. They added the 3 Remix EP on streaming earlier this year seemingly out of nowhere (it's been 17 years [god I'm old] so not a significant anniversary). That gives me hope they won't forget about the compilations too. We're still missing Over to You Now, a few Do Somethin' and Somebody (I Will Understand) remixes, and who knows what unreleased stuff was recorded. I know Britney recorded a cover of It's All in the Game for the Singles Collection that was removed at the last minute too which I'd love to hear.
  3. Can I just say how much I'm loving there being an active Britney thread on ATRL that isn't about her mental state, where we talk about new music with excitement and speculation and reminisce on her iconic career? 22+ pages and counting. Feels like the good old days. My Britney obsession has never ceased, so I alway wished we talked about her music more on here. Looking forward to the next few years of anniversary editions and the discussions they'll bring
  4. "Dusk & Dawn," "Sun & Moon," etc were right there
  5. If we're still getting SNBM this week, then it's probably getting announced tomorrow hopefully we get the tracklist confirmation too
  6. Because no one watches the VMAs, the supposed ratings surge this year was caused by the lead-in from the football game that aired before it on CBS and most people dropped shortly after. Everyone knows traditional TV promo doesn't work these days, yet stans keep begging for it, get angry when there's "no promo," and get perplexed when it actually happens and has no effect just be grateful the Queen entertained the gays!
  7. 1989 TV is an entirely different recording from 1989 though, so there's no contradiction on Billboard's side. None of the original 1989 recordings exist on the TV version
  8. While we're talking anniversary wishlists, if we get Blackout, while I do hope for some of the leaks (personally I'd like Sugarfall, Pull It, Kiss You All Over, and State of Grace from the leaks, couldn't resist listening to the Blackout leaks), I also hope we get some unheard ones. According to this Wikipedia article, she recorded songs called All the Way, Boyfriend, Downtown, Grow (described as an "electropop ballad," super intrigued by this one), Not Broken Hearted (a Danja production!), One of a Kind, and Who Can She Trust (an "introspective ballad written entirely by Britney). Like can you imagine getting 2-3 unheard Blackout songs officially? It would be the pop music event of the decade for me. I really hope they go all out.
  9. Tens of thousands of people paid for travel and hotels for the concert, and thousands more are getting paid for it as employees (we're talking minimum wage-making high school and college kids in some instances). All this is to say I understand your sentiment, but once these shows are booked, you're inconveniencing tens of thousands of people during an incredibly difficult time in the economy to cancel them. The best thing to do is not to book the stadium next time you plan a tour, but if you've already done so, an argument can be made the better thing to do is see it through out of respect for fans and employees, and speak out (like he did).
  10. The way I completely forgot about BOMT because as a stan I couldn't give less of a **** about it that'll be nice though I guess I'm honestly not really sure of mindtrappa's insider status, but I know he's a veteran with supposedly a great track record and a real passion for music. He's very well respected in his space so I trust him. I just really hope "up until Blackout" includes Blackout, because I can die happy if they finally open the Blackout vault.
  11. How amazing this release is shaping up to be has me fantasizing about how the others might be. I'm assuming ITZ25 is a given in 2028. Mindtrappa (an in-the-know person on the forum formally known as Popjustice) said these releases are prepped "up until Blackout." I'm assuming "up until" means including, and if that's the case, I doubt they'd do all the prep work for Blackout25 in 2032 this far in advance. Which has me thinking they'll celebrate Blackout20 next year instead. Which means we COULD be getting (if Britney25 is any indication) 5 unreleased Blackout songs on streaming this time next year for the 20th anniversary. the though literally has me salivating Or we could get nothing until Blackout25 in 2032 and I'm a clown setting myself up for disappointment On that note, I do hope we don't need to wait until 2033 for Circus25, but ITZ25 will clash with Circus20, so we probably will. And I'm seconding the request for Abroad and Take the Bait! Can you tell I'm excited
  12. Omg so that's five new songs then Nov. 6 can't come soon enough omfggg
  13. Just knowing that we're getting "new" Britney music has me obsessing over her all over again. I'm currently spinning underrated club classic B in the Mix - the Remixes and reading the Wikipedia pages of all my favorite singles I will never love another pop star like I love Britney. I've also resisted the urge to listen to most of her leaked unreleased music because I knew one day she'd retire and the vault would be cracked open, and I'd want it to be fresh. So I'm getting four new songs that I've never heard (maybe five if you count Right Now, but I know it was written for a Pepsi commercial so in my brain it's a minute and a half jingle about soda, so I'm tempering my expectations there). TLDR I am SO EXCITED
