For sure at some point my ancestors were colonizers but it's a well known fact that French settlers in Canada were ones of the most cooperative with the Natives out of any Empire (English, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, etc.). Look it up, it's fascinating. For sure they stole their lands (also like any Western countries) but at least it was done in a given-given way, not in a Hey I kill you like all the other ones.

Indians are no more "mixed race" than Black Americans/Caribbeans who technically aren't one type of/fully black for obvious reasons, but still black.

Indians are just considered Asian in the UK, nobody considers them mixed.
