It's aggressively bad, the ads and the app functionality have only gotten worse in the past couple of years.

I pay 43 dollars for 3 months and love it no ads and a lot more guys then the closest 8. Had the most amazing session today too. Maybe it's time to...

Edit: just read the thread and not one if you is willing to pay for the app?? It's so much better if u just give in and pay. It's literally ad free and u get a large distance range of dudes. Yall will litterally miss out on guys 4 miles away cause you don't want to pay?? I know there's times u wanna click on someone but can't cause of your 8 people limitations.. Just pay once you're gonna wanna keep it. I do the one payment every 3 months and done

i stopped using it like 3 years ago when it became overrun in my area with "straight guys" who hate gays and just wanted to hook up with trans girls. sounds like it's even worse now. all the dating apps are going to be fully paywalled in the next 3 years.

Sniffies and Craigslist and straight women's husbands are so much better.

just use ad block DNS to filter out the pop-up ads

I stopped using Grindr years ago. I just remember people using that annoying tap feature on me and then getting angry when I didn't say hello to them.

I live in the UK, but in a city that isn't one of the major ones, so there's kind of no other option if you're looking to hook up like that. Can't wait to move to London this year.

People aren't using Sniffies much where I am, most days you'll see maybe one or two other nearby (read: within a 20 mile radius) profiles on there at a given time, and Scruff is usually just full of people who you already see on Grindr. Some of the other ones are either completely empty or just a little too shady for my tastes.

It's just simply not realistic with those prices unless you're a crazed sex addict that uses that app all day every day. One week of premium (not even unlimited) is as much as an entire month of Spotify and you already see people bitching and moaning when they raise the price by $1.

I just find it so odd the people in here are complaining about ads when all you have to do is pay to get rid of them and get full access. Or just use an adblocker.. 43 for 3 months is not bad lol. And why would you only want to be able to talk to the same 8 dudes 😂.
