Would it be possible to implement a change that would give us the ability to see the previous usernames of members? I think I have argued with a few people on here about politics, they put their foot in their mouth, change their name and pretend like they never talked to me and the start arguing with me on politics again with the same talking points they had 4 months ago. I just wanna know if I'm talking to somebody who is actually interested in a discussion and deserves the benefit of the doubt or whether I'm just feeding a troll that specifically targets me in order to gaslight me

I know that name changes are within the discretion of the mods anyway, but I feel like I'm starting to lose my mind. Maybe it's just dupes after all.

No. For example, users can share news about pop culture that comes from a tweet, a celebrity posting something interesting/bizarre that they want to discuss with users, etc.

I will close a thread for not being viral if the source of the tweet is just a random person and not a news outlet or celebrity. Like we don't need a thread called "Monsters drag Gaga for acting skills" and it's two tweets from random people with 700 likes combined.

Why should we have to acknowledge a warning to continue posting? I don't think I did anything wrong and people have said much worse things with zero consequence. I didn't learn anything and I don't want to do better. It only makes me more bitter and jaded and only emboldens me to go even further and lower so...

I am being consistent with my brand. I am not going to suddenly change and do better because others are uncomfortable.
