Don't you have the power to do just that? They're breaking the rules every single day...and I think it's a fair question that people are asking why they were brought back when others are banned for the same infractions. The rules state one thing, but then exceptions are made. The legitimacy of the rules we're all expected to follow hinges on them being applied fairly and without bias. DMF exists solely to get a no-longer-relevant pop star dragged every single day, whilst pretending to stan them. That's the bit they've been doing before some of our new members were even aware of pop culture. There's no rationale to it. I could see if they were funny, maybe they once were...but that's clearly gone out the window.

1. It's not professional for a mod to have a public, negative, arguably biased opinion of a member. In general, it's just not very nice.

You're willfully forgetting that they were permabanned for years prior to their return. Is it not reasonable to ask what changed? Why did their obvious dupe AZXYZ suddenly stop posting? This isn't about ignoring a user, I fully agree we can all put the troll on ignore and be on our way, it's about fairness and double standards. Would you not be confused if you were banned for something that another user is given a pass to do? You would! There's something fishy about this whole situation and people will continue to ask questions about it when there's been no reasonable explanation given.

I don't know if DMF being "permabanned years ago" is verified information, so I cannot specifically comment on that. But let's pretend that hypothetical is true—if a banned member has returned, my reaction would be, "Oh." So, in conclusion, who cares if banned users returns? ATRL won't collapse if DMF—or if this user, or if that user—is part of the community, and ATRL won't be a utopia if certain users are banished. ATRL isn't exactly the harbinger of "justice" and "fairness." It's just an entertainment forum, run by people who are willing and passionate enough to keep it afloat.
