Randomly caught myself thinking today about that unhinged loon — the Imagine Dragons stan — who would create an online persona, fake a family, straight-curious boyfriend, kill them off when he got bored (complete with lifting pictures off actually dead people, posted by their relatives on social media platforms ) and then eventually fake a cancer diagnosis and/or fake suicide, log off the account and start an entirely new account with the same narrative.

Honestly do not understand how vacant one's irl must be for this to be a thing, let alone a recurring one.
