And? Why is that against the rules?

It was an open discussion in an artist's BASE, which is one of the things this forum is for.

I wasn't harming anyone or spreading false information, because it was all a supposed scenario.

There is nothing wrong with someone “pitching” an idea for a rate. Sometimes people have bad ideas, or grandiose ones that won’t be seen to completion, thereby wasting everyone’s time. The reason for moderator involvement at all is because there needed to be some oversight process as before that it was chaotic.

You might not like how it’s done because of your perception, but that is not always reality.

I'm sure there's no bad intent behind it, and I know he's trying to help, but I think that approach can discourage people from participating if they feel like they don't have much creative control over their own theme.

I think giving hosts more room to run with their ideas, while still offering suggestions when they're wanted, would make the signup process feel a lot more welcoming.

The process with the rates doesn't seem flawed, it just seems some folks have had a bad experience with whoever is declining a suggestion, even for a valid reason.

I'm curious then if this is just an issue of someone thought they were being professional but because tone is hard to read over text, the person they spoke to thought they were being cold.

I finally login back in forever and I wanted to know why the entertainment tab was closed off for guests. @Mythical made a question and was promptly ignored for no reason whatsoever about it. You guys are out of control sometimes seriously. Don't mind me, I just needed to finally vent and say something and I will likely leave again afterwards in a few hours as I'm not really all that enthralled, by the topics I'm reading via lurking besides the entertainment tab. I'm bewildered by all of this drama. TLDR: Don't expect me to stay, just wanted to finally chime in and say something as you can't take my first amendments rights away from me.

Or… maybe no one who knew the answer (me) saw @Mythical’s question, and those who didn’t it didn’t know why.

No one is out of control about anything, but maybe check your attitude before posting next time.

The first amendment means the government can't prosecute you for your opinion/being critical of the government, it does not apply to an online discussion forum that you agreed to certain terms and conditions when you made your account.

I was gone for over 18 months. Nothing wrong with giving someone or someone else for that matter an answer.

I appreciate your thoughtful feedback. Some of this will be taken into consideration, but it sounds like you fundamentally disagree with the moderation of rates and that’s just not going to change. We believe it’s best for the forum experience. The vast majority of rate ideas do get approved (basically unless there’s a conflict with something that’s already been done), so if you have a rate you want to host and didn’t get the change, please reup the request. Perhaps it was just an oversight.

So what's the reason for entertainment being guests only? Can it be made public again?

We probably won't get an answer to that but, that's fine.

Not necessarily a knock on anybody but, if you continue to be you then so be it, nothing wrong with asking a simple question and try to say something.

Other sections of the website are open to the public so, it didn't seem right to not know nothing about this.

The straw that broke the camel's back for me to finally say something about that was that AI post that @BTS made. No seriously, what was that?

You can't kill a legend like me for this website and that's all I'm going to say otherwise, I just needed to tell some people, not directed towards anybody who I'll say but, to not sit back and think like hey, what's going on here.

I'll be back and I really hope that when I come back from this website, full time, whenever that may be, you two will still be here.
