I'm genuinely confused. I have never seen more hatred towards P!nk at any point in her career than the past year. Apparently she's a Zionist and a terrible person? It's a fairly new thing but the more isolated people become the more time they spend online. This goes one of either way; one you spend your time educating yourself about the world around you and forming opinions based on what you think is right, and then there's the second route in which people obsess over pop culture and stars because they get daily news that is not intellectually challenging whilst simultaneously over analysing these pop stars and attacking their unqualified political opinion as a form of hatred, misogyny and stan wars whilst not challenging the individuals they actually know that share the same opinions. Like sure pinks a Zionist, she's ill informed a little uneducated but she's also massively privileged and disaffected. Why would you expect her to be an authority on politics or some personification of a moral compass. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, you don't have to agree, but as a bunch of queer people you think they'd learn to respect a perfect stranger even if they don't respect their opinion. Half of them don't even understand why they're cancelling someone they just hop on the bandwagon for clout under their (usually anonymous) pseudonym. Their time would be better spent researching what they talk about
