Favorite song from Wicked?

my fave rn.

'Cause getting your dreams
It's strange, but it seems
A little, well, complicated
There's a kind of a sort of, cost
There's a couple of things get, lost
There are bridges you cross you didn't know you crossed
Until you've crossed

Popular, but What Is This Feeling? has surprisingly been helping me cope with my hatred towards my coworkers...

Let's just say, I loathe it all
Every little trait, however small
Makes my very flesh begin to crawl

As Long As You're Mine has always been my top song from the musical and that remains the same for the movie as well. (I prefer the broadway version)
No Good Deed is second.

It's hard to choose when there's so much talent. I hate musicals but "No One Mourns the Wicked" sold me immediately.

The song Elphaba's mom sings when she bangs that snake oil salesman

"Wonderful" was my favorite song as a kid and is still probably one of my favorite songs tbh. jonny It's such a fascinating commentary on how history and propaganda are shaped.

what is this feeling or defying gravity (ngl not so many bops in part 2)

I mean, it's cliche, but Defying Gravity, No Good Deed, and For Good depending on the day.

Lately it's no good deed

Thank goodness is one of the best too though, I really love the whole thing except one or two songs. I mean defying gravity is ******* amazing

No Good Deed is and will always be my favorite. Seeing it live is exhilarating. Seeing it in the movie was a totally different experience but still amazing.

As Long As You're Mine

For Good

Defying Gravity

The Wizard And I

What Is This Feeling

No Good Deed

For Good

Popular

No One Mornes the Wicked (especially the final moment)

The Wizard and I is perfection and one of the best "I Want" songs in musical theatre sleigh

Soooooo hard to choose, but I love The Wizard and I. I love its climax and I love the foreshadowing in the lyrics: "I'd be so happy I could melt ... One day there'll be a celebration throughout Oz that's all to do with me" rip

This tbh. I love the new songs from the movie as well, especially No Place Like Home, very touching.

No One Mourns The Wicked, Popular, What Is This Feeling? and For Good.

What a bold choice. I was thinking of how curious and interested I would be in what kind of person would have this masterpiece as their favorite.

If we work in tandem

There's no fight we cannot win

Cause you and I

Defying gravity

Maybe I'm basic for this but "Popular," ,"Defying Gravity," and "For Good."

Also "Dancing Through Life" and "Couldn't Be Happier" definitely "As Long As You're Mine!" alexz3
