Started catastrophizing all of the sudden about the direction of my life again. This year has been going on so well, but it suddenly hit me that there's so much stuff I need to do after this summer. I know in the end I'm probably overthinking things at least, and I think I'm slowly starting to recover from spiraling earlier this evening. I also feel like there's a pattern where a lot of serial killers and psychopaths first start by torturing animals before they move on to other human beings. In the Philippines for example, there is a lot of animosity toward the indigenous groups there who were never colonized by the US or Spain, and even today they're at risk of getting displaced.The sad reality is that this is common in a lot of formerly colonized countries. We talk about it a lot in regards to the US but it's also seen in other countries, where even after independence there's still a lot of hatred towards indigenous groups.Chicken drumsticks I enjoyed them as a kid, but my high school cafeteria served really gross ones and they kinda ruined it for me. Every time I try drumsticks now that's all I associate them with.
