I remember being so infatuated with one of my friends in high school, I was convinced that he was closeted like me but we never did anything and eventually he got a girlfriend. Now, I look back on my obsession with him and just cringe.

Yes, I have several TikTok accounts for my different interests (record collecting, motorsports, gaming, etc.). It's easy to get burnt out on managing those accounts though because you have to constantly be posting content to keep your followers engaged, so I don't really use them anymore except the gaming account.

I actually got invited for jury duty for the second time in my life recently. I'm going in October. The last time, I was in college and it was actually pretty crazy because I got chosen for a murder case. I got dismissed though because jury duty couldn't really fit with my schedule at the time.

I constantly hear stories now about how students are struggling to read now and it's so concerning. I've also seen it with the way they approach math now. I volunteer as a math tutor for kids in middle school and so many of them can't grasp basic concepts now. For example, some of them don't know how to do long division, understand basic times tables, or do addition past the number 10. I don't even know what the root cause is anymore. Veteran teachers tell me that students have changed a lot since the pandemic, but I sometimes wonder if there are other structural issues that cause this.
