I would normally agree, but it's just that a third and fourth single from Mayhem were clearly sacrificed for these songs (well, TDD at least, it's too soon to say if the Devil Wears Prada song gets a big push and gets tacked on to Mayhem). In that case, they should have been at least as good as some of the single-worthy songs on Mayhem so far, and… that hasn't been the case

I will say i am glad she's doing droplets though, if nothing else.

I love the dead dance song itself. But my biggest issues with the song is that Tim Burton and lady Gaga would've done far better with the mv. They could've served a mini film experience for the mv. Tim Burton isn't what he used to too be that for sure but he still creative somewhat. Both mother and goth father could've truly created magic together and I think a lot people felt let down by official mv tbh.

I agree 100% the music video should've been a cultural reset.

Mayhem era management discourse is stale tbh. We ended up getting one of her career best eras all things considered.

Gaga cutting the one song from the setlist i haven't seen live yet before my show in March because TDD wasn't out yet when i went last time in August

People wanted a Citizen Kane level mv from a cute song for a cute kids show. Never change, monstrosities.
