I'm not that optimistic about the new Devil Wears Prada sequel. Story wise i can already tell it's going to be too pastiche because it's no longer based of the book. Which is also the sequel to the first one and plot wise it's also a bore. They've diverted the story from the original sequel. I don't think it'll fare well with critics. What made the first movie great is that it's based off on real occurrence and people from Vogue.

Just hope that Gaga looks good and the song sounds decent. Let's also hope she attends the MET as a bonus

The first Devil Wears Prada wasn't even that amazing tbh, very by-the-numbers in plot, but it was competently made, and carried majorly by Patricia Field's styling IMO. Now there is no Patricia Field (retired), and the one doing the wardrobe now is her underling who did the horrible outfits for And Just Like That. I'm so sad it's going to look terrible. However, I'm just glad Gaga seemingly picked her own outfit since the And Just Like That stylist is a menace to all with eyes and taste.

TDWP2 is going to be a panned mess and probably very frontloaded, it's for the better that this is just a cute cameo and we'll get a song out of it.

The sequel to the book (Revenge Wears Prada) was absolutely DREADFUL and if the movie is adapting it, it will have to do a lot of rewriting in order to be good ngl

I'm not too interested tbh, only that Gaga's cameo goes well

She either picked it herself or put a clause that she'll bring her own stylist. Like what Kim Cattrall did for her cameo in AJLT, which brought back Patricia Field.
