It still seems very unlikely but this year seems like it could be a good year for Gaga to release in terms of AOTY chances. Taylor's release is panned to oblivion, Bruno is very mixed and Harry's single reception has lukewarm, plus I don't think he would get it twice in a row. Beyoncé probably won't win it twice either. And Gaga would be coming off a fresh AOTY nom without a win.

Gaga must've known about the impending war with Iran, so that's why Requim announcement wasn't coming until Monday or Tuesday. It makes sense now.

The LoveDrug psychosis in this base is quite funny. It's not top 5 in Mayhem any way shape or form. The verses are magnificient though.

The thing about Gaga is that her specialty is obviously over the top pop like Abracadabra or Garden of Eden. When she does "basic" or straight forward pop it's usually a hit or miss. LoveDrug is the best "normal" pop song she's released, it's simple but super catchy, melodic, and sonically interesting.

Well that's obvious. It need to be up to Mayhem's standarts at least to have a shot. Ideally a bit better (all killer 0 filler tracklist).

LoveDrug immediately takes me to a nostalgia-soaked roller rink circa 1980. My friends are there, I'm a little buzzed and I don't have a care in the world. Whatever she put in this song I want more of.
