Hmm would have to disagree. The Oscars was HUGE. I remember my normie friends and classmates at the time were shocked to learn that the meat dress lady actually had PIPES. All of these events were explosive outside of the pop sphere.

This time, however, it's different. Gaga is part of something bigger than herself and bigger than the pop bubble: she's part of a cultural phenomenon connected to millions of people worldwide. This will have a lasting impact on the GP consciousness, and Gaga will be remembered for this for years to come.

I don't think we're fully aware yet of how much her image has improved because of this. We'll probably only see the real effects when she releases her next project (assuming it doesn't take too long).

I think it feels bigger cause outside of the TF/TFM era, pretty much every major Gaga peak came after a "meh" moment: ASIB and the Oscars followed Joanne, and MAYHEM came after a five-year hiatus, FAD, the ads era, and an album that didn't really connect with the GP.

This time, tho, she's riding high after an incredible era and album, with momentum fully on her side

I really wonder how much can all of this attention and engagement affect her next album commercial success. Like, will it bring a considerable number of new fans that will actually look up for her new music? Or is she at a point in her career where people acknowledge her as a legend and celebrity, but focus more on her overall catalogue and impact instead of new songs.

Maybe it will depend on which kind of music she is making.
