One of Gaga's greatest strengths is that she is a musician that loves collaboration. OGHs laugh at her for all her collaborations, but it gives her opportunities like the one she had last night. This is a skill I believe she got from Tony Bennett who was never afraid to collab with different artists throughout his whole career

now back to tracking this #1 immortal smash, which is very difficult to get, not every artist, despite having over a dozen collabs w their most recent efforts can achieve even a teaspoon of its success

And its such a hipocrisy bc pretty much everyone does collabs. Gaga values connection when she collaborates thats why she always delivery. The fact that she shelved the Cher collab bc it didn't feel organic to her shows that.

Good lord that thread is miserable. It doesn't really matter if you liked it or not, it was Benito's choice, he was visibly thrilled with how it turned out, and it carried a really important message. Move on jfc.

They keep making it a point to always mention Michael in regards to her. I feel like they're trying to lowkey say he's running the show since Mayhem era, but IDK. I don't think he is even trying to run the show, she just asks him for advice and follows it because he actually is intelligent tbh. I would trust his advice too, only misstep has been the nurtec commercials, but hopefully they learned that was NAGL for her not matter how big the check was.

I saw people dragging Jill, but didn't bother to watch her little video because why listen to what a botched racist has to say about Bad Bunny's halftime? I had enough of that after seeing Laura Loomer's post about the SBHT, but the nerve. What they hate the most is that she picks hers well. She only does them when it's an artist with staying power and that complement her, she doesn't go chasing random newbies that fizzle out in 2 years just to try to remain relevant like some of their faves

But also the SB wasn't even a collab, she legit just sang by herself and then danced with Benito for 30 seconds

I think Michael is very much behind the curtains running the show WITH her. I think he's the one motivating her and helping her. He's a breath of fresh air in her life and it shows in her career as well. She's on fire right now in terms of inspiration and drive and I think he could be the reason.
