what's also so great about Gaga's guest performance at BB's SB show is the fact that she just looks so happy to be on stage. she's bursting with life and channeling a very simple but very human emotion — joy.

that's the biggest change that happened to her over the years. she's genuinely enjoying every single moment on stage these days and coming through like a simple human being, albeit extremely talented one, of course.

it's heartwarming to see her like this as a long time liddo, and I hope her days ahead will always be as bright as her smile was last Sunday.

I tend to listen to the whole album in full. But lately I've randomly played Abra and Garden.

As much flowers as Bobby deserves for the post-ARTPOP reinvention, this is honestly the right move. Bobby is kinda too traditional in his approach to managing a pop megastar like her with such a massive global appeal. Michael really seems to have helped her expand her reach to younger audiences and refocus her brand on top-notch quality but he is much more effective in getting the job done. From overhauling the entire Haus and getting trash out the minute he stepped in, to enlisting the biggest professionals for the Mayhem era, and nabbing sensible brand deals and collabs and choosing the right promo spots that keep her name in the public eye without risking overexposure.

It also helps that she's in possibly the best place she's ever been physically, mentally, and emotionally and is more driven and proactive in taking and signing off career decisions. Everything is going the right way.

Anyone that works in corporate America knows an ambiguous, "evolved" role means a downgraded role without being outwardly fired.

But no wonder things have seemingly taken a turn for the better this era!

I think this is Gaga's biggest moment in the eyes of the GP. The level of publicity, engagement, and praise is unprecedented in her career.

The meat dress, the Oscars, Copacabana… those were huge moments, but mostly within the pop bubble. They weren't truly massive events for the GP, because they were primarily about Gaga and for Gaga.

This time, however, it's different. Gaga is part of something bigger than herself and bigger than the pop bubble: she's part of a cultural phenomenon connected to millions of people worldwide. This will have a lasting impact on the GP consciousness, and Gaga will be remembered for this for years to come.

I don't think we're fully aware yet of how much her image has improved because of this. We'll probably only see the real effects when she releases her next project (assuming it doesn't take too long).
