As much flowers as Bobby deserves for the post-ARTPOP reinvention, this is honestly the right move. Bobby is kinda too traditional in his approach to managing a pop megastar like her with such a massive global appeal. Michael really seems to have helped her expand her reach to younger audiences and refocus her brand on top-notch quality but he is much more effective in getting the job done. From overhauling the entire Haus and getting trash out the minute he stepped in, to enlisting the biggest professionals for the Mayhem era, and nabbing sensible brand deals and collabs and choosing the right promo spots that keep her name in the public eye without risking overexposure.

It also helps that she's in possibly the best place she's ever been physically, mentally, and emotionally and is more driven and proactive in taking and signing off career decisions. Everything is going the right way.

My biggest concern is that Michael is doing too much. He has a job while sort of managing Gaga, plus he writes and creates with her. I hope he is able to find a balance, or has already found that balance, because I think they are perfect for one another.

I mean we're coming up on the 20 year mark of Gaga's time as a celebrity and they still act like this. Anyone hating on a benign stranger for that long (all because her talent makes them feel threatened on behalf of their fave) is sorely lacking in the sanity department.

The reactions to her appearance at the Super Bowl are some of the best ever, the way everybody was either in total shock, completely gagged or burst into tears.. It really played out like a shocking moment in Game of Thrones, it was incredible that they kept it a secret.
