I think the bigger part of their hate comes from them never having that genuine community experience we had growing up. The 'Mother Monster' era was intense (and maybe made us a little unhinged), but she was a constant cheerleader for us, and that built loyalty and love.

They mistakenly keep thinking we care about 'perfection' or 'power' when we had Judas back in 2011. We literally stan the woman who dressed as a freak and turned getting puked on into performance art.

They can only brag about stats or how many horses they have on tour because that's all they've got. They can't wrap their heads around the fact that Benito was just like us, positively influenced by her humanity. They only understand distant admiration because they stan a 'god-like' figure, but Gaga was never that.

When now Gaga get recognition they feel the need to protect the only thing valuable for them to stan in their faves: their success (or the success they once had lmao)

Liddos don't care about that, we still dragged her deranged haters when they were kicking her when she was down during the ARTPOP era, and would do it again.

I haven't engaged with stan war stuff on here since 2012, but I've always viewed them as a fun, campy part of the ATRL experience, so long as we don't take it too seriously. I would bet that most people who've been here a long time feel the same way.

I just know someone that shaded Alejandro MV back in the day smashed their television as soon as Lady Guanita Gapita showed up.
