To be fair, I don't think (for the most part) that anyone disliked the performance. She looked and sounded incredible, that's not debatable.

Some just wanted more of a spectacle.

she's obviously gonna do production work on LG8 but pls i don't think we're getting an entirely self-produced album. Gaga did plenty of synth work on MAYHEM as well. also how does Madeon know this?

I really feel that LG8 is going to be her more experimental, synthy grunge pop album we've all been waiting for. I hope she releases it sooner rather than later though - next January/February would be perfect imo.

Madeon and Gaga have stayed in touch over the years, almost all of her producers (minus DJWS and RedOne) share the same circle.

That Grammy performance was the personification of cool ass aura and anyone who disagrees is tasteless

Just watched the performance and I am GAGGED This was one of her best performances ever. You could say it's "simple" in scale as it had no backup dancers, big stage or whatever but somehow it felt so big. Her vocals, her look, the arrengement, her body language. Thank God I stan someone THIS talented

2 months ago I would have told you all you are deluded for believing this but I actually think LG8 may be coming next year.

Seeing her wearing that gorgeous McQueen archive makes me dream about the day she snatches this iconic Mugler outfit.

The feathered head piece could fit the era she's been teasing as well. God, how I would love to see her wearing both (and more) in a new music video.
