As far as I know, the Disney remake/sequel project she's been in discussions to star in (with a leading role) is not Cruella. But the complexity of that project getting approved leading to it falling apart might have led to her getting the Cruella role.

"Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga will be part of the repertoire of "Unnatural Harmony: Sounds of Lee Alexander McQueen," an immersive show that highlights the music used by the designer in his runway shows.

The event will feature choreography and the London Contemporary Orchestra, which will focus mainly on the soundtracks from three of the designer's collections: Angels & Demons, Dante, and Plato's Atlantis. The latter is already well-known to the Little Monsters, as it marked the exact moment when fashion and pop music fused in a viral way for the first time in the digital era, back in 2010—when Gaga announced on Twitter that her new song would debut at the end of the show, the traffic was so overwhelming that the SHOWstudio server crashed, making it one of the first major "internet-breaking" events in fashion.

The show takes place at the Southbank Centre in London, from April 29 to 30, 2026.

Cruella 2 would be fun, i'd love to see her work with GODma Stone and Glenn, but I wouldn't want her spending a lot of time on it, i'd rather an original drama, literally about anything lol

Her next film role is probably going to be very carefully selected. She already attempted a "big mainstream sequel" and given the way it panned out, I wouldn't risk it with something like Cruella 2 if I were in her shoes. Just because she's an A-lister doesn't mean she has to default to big projects, she should consider less mainstream films too.
