There are a handful of songs on MAYHEM that are more interesting melodically than anything in Taylor's discography, and Die With A Smile is a bigger hit than any song she's released.

This take of their is hilarious because Renaissance and Mayhem alone have stronger hooks than a majority of Taylor's discog. TS' strength is her lyricism but the reason her discog gets dragged for being sanitized bedroom pop is precisely because her lyricism generally takes greater precedence over melodies.

You can drag Gaga and Bey for numerous things but not hooks, Swifties need to stop huffing glue
