I think no matter how long Beyoncé "sits" on a album, she will always find things she could tweak. I mean the vinyls from CC had different versions from what was streaming and who knows how long of a gap it was from vinyl pressing to release date, a few months?

So an album could be "done" but I bet when she does another relisten she already has a lot of notes of what to change. So I don't think an album is ever "done" with her, i mean she listened to some Boots demos and completely restarted on Self Titled's album when she was already actively releasing the music (well, not officially but with high profile ads like pepsi and H&M she clearly was meant to release an album soon after the superbowl)

if Jay is doing the halftime, it wont be with her, it'll be a solo billing (tho he'll probs bring her out as a surprise guest). Jay has a massive ego - he will want this for himself, to be a celebration of his own work.

The only way it would make sense for Bey to co-headline the superbowl with him would be if they use it to launch an OTRIII - which I frankly just dont think will happen because Bey will want act iii to have its own bespoke tour.

I know Bey and Jay like to present themselves as a power couple and do the most as a duo, and I do believe that at some point they will want to return with a new The Carters project to redeem their slightly disappointing EiL/OTRII struggle bus.

But if there's one thing that couple has proven to love more than eachother, it's their art. And I do believe that this JAY-Z30 moment is a way he gets to honour his pantheon of work, while her trilogy is an outlet for her to flex her commerical, touring and artistic powers while at the peak of her game.

Also if Bey keeps doing more superbowl halftimes people will start accusing her of taking up other people's opportunity to shine. Even I don't think she should do another halftime show, especially if she's only gonna perform songs from her most recent albums.

The fact songs like Levii's Jeans and Riiverdance have been featured in halftime shows when enduring, legendary hits of hers have been paid dust is crazy. We don't need a Bey x Jay halftime show where they only perform Donk Remix, Top Off, Mood 4 Eva and 713, and knowing them that's what they'll choose to do.
