IASF doesnt need 4 vinyls pleek (i made my own mock up time ago lsdfnkjsn)

It seems pretty obvious to me that the original plan was to drop Act III this year, probably with a spring launch, but for whatever reason, it got delayed. Her going to the Met Gala for the first time in 10 years just because Blue wanted to go never really made sense to me when she just could've gone with her father. Current day Beyoncé doesn't make such huge public commitments without there being some sort of gain or benefit. Maybe she wasn't happy with the music, needed more time, or simply wanted this year to be about Jay and all his anniversary events and 30th celebrations.

The B'Day anniversary edition feels like something she quickly put together to boost her music income in an otherwise very quiet year. It just feels so random and out of nowhere. The only explanation that really makes sense to me for why B'Day is getting a 20th anniversary edition while DIL didn't is that DIL's anniversary coincided with the Renaissance Tour and that whole era.

Maybe, but the combination of releasing an album and then touring must've been a too tiring for her. She already toured twice in three years, three tours within five would've been a bit much (unless we didn't get a tour for act iii, which I doubt anyone would want to happen).

I also think that act iii needed the most time considering that the initial insider knowledge only spoke about dance and country. Between the first two acts, her brands launches, and her family, I think she's been at full capacity. I don't mind waiting another year if it means that the output is going to be better.

B'Day 20 is a welcome surprise and much preferable to her sitting out for another year with no music, so I'm personally excited.

Then why didn't she put out CCT film or released RWT on streaming? She could've also released two live albums this year. She'd get that money from those

It would make a lot of sense, but in her mind having full shows on streaming will stifle her touring demand. Especially since she keeps touring the same places (US+parts of Europe) with dynamic pricing on. People will pay a lot of money if the only way to see her perform is live in person

next tour she needa visit more than just europe and north america. capitalistyoncé would make more $$$.

but then why not release CCT film like she did with RWT

Transportation is one of the biggest drivers when it comes to touring, especially for such a huge production she is known for, and she could never demand the same ticket prices in South America for example, so a lot less profit overall.

While, of course, none of us are in her Parkwood meetings, I have a theory.

Beyonce's whole "schtick" is scarcity marketing. Of late, we've seen her take on more of a "get-it-while-you-can approach" to her everything.

It's dually annoying and genius. Bey does not have that religiously devoted/robotic idolizing audience that a Taylor (for example) has. So, there has to be some strategy around how to keep fans engaged/excited/wanting more.

If she/her product are easily/ever-accessible, it takes away from the sparkle, premium, and the event-izing she's able to do around all of her key moves.

I say that to say, I'm not at all surprised that she kept RWT off streaming and why there is no news on whether a CCT film even exists.

It obviously doesn't make sense from a neatness or fan-service perspective, but it makes absolute sense from a scarcity marketing perspective. The literal translation is: "y'all better come and see me on tour (her real money maker btw) because there's no certainty you'll ever get to experience this moment again".

Again, honing in on the reality that Bey still has to move strategically, I also think we have to factor in that she probably doesn't have an endless pool of streamer deals to spend on "live concert specials" when she almost certainly is reserving that ace card for what almost certainly will be a combined visual film for all acts.

I'm not ass-kissing Hive, so I definitely do not feel her moves are always the right ones, nor do I feel she always has this grand plan she is executing (if anything, I legit feel she is making up a lot of ish as she goes along). To her benefit, the fact that her moves are so unpredictable will always make - even the wrong or impromptu steps - look like "the plan all along".

What is pretty obvious that a lot of you keep missing is jay z 30 shows. This is big year for him and a very important one. She is not going on an album tour cycle while jay is doing the same. Sometimes it is that simple and not a massive conspiracy

she could book festivals in regions she hasnt performed in years.

mawazine festival for her african fans.

copacabana for her latin american fans.

The only way I could see her doing a true WW tour, it would be with a pretty scaled back production. Shipping the stage and tech that utilizes more than a dozen semis, as well as all of the staff is probably super costly, and unless she can do a large chunk of dates, it's probably not worth it. Maybe Australia would work as she could do a good amount of shows there and the ticket prices would be comparable to the US and Europe.

The re-issue is a nice to have, but should be standard practice for an artist like Bey, at this stage in her career.

I'm excited to listen to the songs, but to be honest if feels like something she has rustled up because she pushed back Act III by a year. I think to give Jay's comeback some space.

She probably had a vinyl order on hold that she had to fulfill.

And it would be a shame if the B'Day issue is standalone.

Why just this album? Why start with B'Day? It would have been better, both for fans and a product to sell, if it was part of a broader reissue campaign, that wasn't tied to the trilogy in typeface etc.
