I wouldn't go that far but her dedication to not giving anything is truly unparalleled and I'm still not 100% sure why. She says she idolizes Prince but Prince did **** all the time, he made music non stop and did concerts for fans all the time at Paisley. For the deluxe, they should have just replaced "Get Me Bodied" with the extended remix, and created a second disc with all the extra stuff. They ended up releasing Irreemplazable as its own EP anyway, so it didn't need to be the deluxe's disc two at all.

What defines a luxury good is quality first and foremost, not scarcity. Everyone (including the present-day luxury sector) seems to have forgotten that. Scarcity is games, quality is not. Maybe she'll see a nice payday from it eventually but at what cost? 2) It cheapens any higher intention the art might have. If it's always only about a premium (for her) then who can believe it was ever intended to serve any other purpose in the world? We'd like to believe she wants to put her stuff out because she has something to say and wants it to reach people and do good and bring joy and enlightenment, not because she wants to play 4D chess with her tax returns in 2030.
