Speaking of Flamenco, the album version sounds lowkey unfinished, and not only because of the length. The tour version's arrangement features actual Andalusian sound, which is indeed a clear reference to the genre...

I understand what you're saying, but I feel as though a rock album from her would be much different, much darker, with more grunge, heavy metal sounds, some hard electric guitar, way more percussion, VERY experimental. You could be right though.

I do think Bodyguard/AR/Ya Ya are probably good representations of more rock leaning songs on CC, but when I think of Beyonce rock, I think of DHY, Forever To Bleed, Suga Mama, Never Gonna Love Again and some of her more ALT leaning experimental tracks like Haunted or even 6 Inch.

It's funny you say this because sometimes i wondered if maybe she had combined cowboy carter with some of the rock album because she went in a different direction with act iii esp with YAYA, AR, Desert Eagle but maybe its part of a transition to a more electronic rock album...
