Yes but famously recording videos during 2020 and 2021 was quite the challenge

I see I see, that's hopeful. ngl idgaf about there being a delay, I would just be heartbroken if we've all been waiting for an Act 3 that doesn't exist this whole time.

4 years after Bey confirmed to us that we're getting 3 albums (and 2 years since the second album put any possible confusion about that to bed), we're still debating whether the third act of a three-act project is an album...

a few days ago Tina said that she has already listened to act III and it's incredible… also let's not act like she hasn't given us hints about a rock album these past few months

Also Variety just confirmed the dance + country record back in the day. Act 3 probably always were only the visuals of the project and since shes still shooting them, they are coming at a later time.

if Act III does come out on the 29th, we're still technically on time tbh, because Cowboy Carter preorders only went live ~ 2 weeks before release. so a surprise announcement/drop is still possible.

but at the same time, i also don't think it has to be the 29th. i feel like Hive sometimes tries too hard to turn everything into strict patterns 😭 just because the first two acts dropped on the 29th doesn't automatically mean this one has to as well.

same with the single theories… "Act I had 1 single and Act II had 2 singles, so obviously Act III will have 3 singles" that feels like another forced pattern to me. she could literally decide to do no singles at all this time and just drop the whole album at once, or maybe only do one single. we genuinely don't know.

and we've already seen that Beyoncé changes things constantly during the process. Cowboy Carter literally had a title change, a new cover shoot, and she was still recording/changing things pretty close to release. so clearly not everything is set in stone years in advance like people think.

Cowboy Carter preorders launched March 12th, by the way. 17 days before the album. Since I see some of y'all talking about the logistics of preorders.

on a serious note, maybe the 'music video' she was recording the other week (as leaked in that tiktok) wasnt a video but a vogue shoot video like the one she dropped for break my soul upon announcing act i?
would line up with the timeline we have...

Agreed, but then also Bey does seem obsessed with the numbers thing (calling all her song titles things like LEVIIS JEANS and REQUIIEM for example)

So, I won't be caught in the semantics and nomenclature because she is funny and I actually don't have that type of insight into the plans or creativeness but

Even if she wanted to pull a crazy twist like "act 3 is a tour!", "act 3 is the visuals!", "act 3 is shampoo", y'all don't need to worry because there was music in production and most of it is finished (unless she scraps it). I personally believe this album is act 3 but what do we know, right.

I really do hope the first single is accompanied with a music video that's actually uploaded onto YouTube. "The visuals" as a whole is something I can take or leave atp, but I'm hoping this era comes with a single music video at the very least. I do think there is a film/series locked away somewhere tho.
