He's dropping anniversary editions of two albums so logistically it would be a bit much to also drop an album. I think his concerts are about (besides celebration of his legacy) building hype for album to be released later this year during the fall.

The longer she's not posting more Met Gala content, especially the Robert Wun dress, the more hope I'm getting sh*t's about to go down. Maybe act iii comes without lead single as full package, would make the most sense for the last act and a rock album (to truly surprise with the harsh sound and not give anything away).

Nothing is arriving on May 29th - She's a business woman and is not going to play around and lose these pre-orders.

Also Variety just confirmed the dance + country record back in the day. Act 3 probably always were only the visuals of the project and since shes still shooting them, they are coming at a later time.

Madonna and Sabrina's song got also released on a Thursday PST, but with an announcement before. Next week we have Drake, so today/tomorrow are the last two dates to keep the 29/05 dream alive, unless they don't care about a #1 lead single, which I doubt.

I'm pretty sure there's an act III but I agree it's not coming without pre-orders and a reasonable timeframe so it's not coming on the 29th. That was always an assumption anyway. She could drop a hint but she's obsessed with secrecy or whatever.

I know it's a stretch but Kelela who is also doing a rock album moved her date from June 26th to July 10th, maybe she wanted to avoid direct comparison with Bey. It's also 2 weeks after Olivia's album release.

The other date I can think of is around her birthday, which would explain Billboard doing the B'Day article months before the actual anniversary.

the only thing that irritates me more than the ridiculous lore-breaker stuff is this persistent narrative that we aren't currently in a three album trilogy.

when renaissance was out you guys were like 'act ii is the tour and act iii is the visuals!'

now it's 'acts i and ii are the music and act iii is the music video!'

now explain how the visuals would be considered act iii if the very beginning of the I'm That Girl teaser literally lists itself as act i?

explain how the visuals for Cowboy Carter are meant to be considered act iii when they literally contain this set piece:

(a collection of giant blocks in the bottom left hand corner spelling out ACT II)

We have to stop convincing ourselves that we aren't in a trilogy project. It's crazy.
