And when I say this is bigger promo than than the Grammys 2024 and Superbowl Act II launch combined?

That Superbowl add made quite the noise. I don't think it tops that hype (and she did nothing with it now so we'll never know for sure)

My mom passed away last week. I know I mentioned her wanting to hear a Beyonce rock album as she has anticipated it for years, and I'm so sad she didn't get to hear it before she passed (if that's wha

No no you're right. She's so viral on every news outlet today. If she plays her cards right and launches something soon she has people's attention

Great publicity she's getting with a seemingly great public perception.

I duno if I am just an optimist but I kind of like that the gown's fabric had an "issue", ie. it looked like it was sewn onto fabric not her actual body, and it made it feel more like a beautiful opera costume.

obviously it's a bit distracting in pictures, but the gown really dazzles in motion.

it's wise she didn't release new music last night anyway because the next day after the met is still leftover press about the met gala, in a way that celebrity media outlets really like to sink their teeth into, in a way that they don't really regarding the winners of the Super Bowl...

Okay now, back to the Act III first (and probably last) single. Where is it Giselle? rogue2

It was much more narrow noise, in my opinion, within the fanbase and surely much less international than the Met.

The myth that she did some huge promotion for new music, debuting it at the Super Bowl always struck me as really weird.

She said "drop the new music" for 1s at the end of one of many ads that night. No mention of any name, no snippet, no details. For all anyone knew, it was just another joke in the commercial. It's brilliant and it did work but I agree, it really only worked if you cared about new Beyoncé music. It didn't sell you on it at all.

I hear you, but I don't think we can underestimate how intensely viewed the Super Bowl is across the world.

During that stream she was captured on candid cam looking maybe more beautiful than she ever has done, casually minding her business with that cécred blowout, then starred in a massively viral advert making tonnes of self referencing jokes, and then announced she was releasing new music. And this comes only a couple of months after the conclusion of the RWT, and a couple weeks after the conclusion of the RWT film. She'd also already teased the theme of the next record with her Grammys look. She was more 'present' to the general public upon the launch of CC than she is right now (or was before last night), and everyone knew Act II was imminent.

Her Verizon moment was MAJOR.

Sure, it was a big deal, but when you say something like "TEXAS HOLD 'EM had little promo" and then someone says "GIRL THE SUPER BOWL", I find that to be exaggerating what it really was. It'd be different if she debuted its music video in the commercials, or even played the song in the background. Instead, she made an off-hand remark at the very end of a commercial that didn't even confirm 100% that it was out. She implied there was new music which is huge in its own, but all leads back to it only really working on people who were seated for new Beyoncé music.

And even if people may have been like "fun commercial, now I want to hear her new music", that's still indirect promo for the song. I guess what I'm saying is people are acting like she debuted the track which would be overt, direct promo, and that's not the case.

So, are we still holding out hope for May 29th? The whole skeleton gown made me think that she is hinting that new music will come out in September-October around Halloween lmao

I get why she posts her own photos, but some of the red carpet pics are so good, I hope she posts them, too.

she seemed pretty nervous and I don't think they had planned out the poses in advance

it would have been great to have a proper pose at the top of the stairs and then remove the coat and head piece to reveal the dress

Yeah it seems as if thought she only did this because Blue wanted to do it, both looked amazing though.

I do not buy that she only did the met gala for Blue. If that was the case she would just let Blue go alone with Jay. She CERTAINLY wouldn't CO-CHAIR the whole event just for her daughter to get a go on a red carpet.

Don't forget, Bey was meant to attend the carpet in 2018 (the gold OTR II dress). She likes the Met.

She probably just chose this to be her 'hey I'm back' moment for the general public ahead of her launch of act iii. Which will probably come any moment now.

Blue is not phased by the spotlight. She is confident and manages to be less shy than her superstar mother.

Ugh so much positivity all around. Feels like we're back in 2013 jonny2
