I think it used to stay, but they changed it some time ago. I don't think it's a hint -- it was quite annoying scrolling and the text over every pic.

we're losing the ancient texts. i said in 2015. this post in particular is why everyone thinks she's always dropping hints:

building hype to launch an era the same year it releases (like attending the MET or holding the 3 lemons) is not the same thing as dropping easter eggs with no context the year prior (like the post above).

and yet, you have all these "theory" accounts like lorebreakers who think every single thing is intentional, when in reality, its not. for example all the people that said her hand in that rensaissance teaser brushes past mailbox #51 so that must mean its coming on 05/01 which is not even realistic. (a real "theory" i saw.)

Tbh, it's not impossible that the album is coming with visuals around Halloween. They have a vaguely dark, creepy vibe from what we have seen, and rock music at Halloween makes sense.

But then again, she'd probably want act iii to come without visuals, too, given the press release around Renaissance.

dropping visuals with the album is a sure-fire way to eclipse the album in favor of the visuals. we're gonna be sitting with act iii with no visuals for a bit before she unleashes the film on us

After last night I will lose any sort of expectations until she says something. The only thing that still keeps my hype going on for this year is Vogue's article which is of course PR approved and signals a new era on the way. But how far that way is idk.

this is what happens when you give your fans literally crumbs (a callback to the pose boxes), they start making up stories and theories to get SOME sort of excitement.

I know new music will be coming this year cause Tina has been promoting it, dropping some feelers.

I too have lost sight of the May 29th date, sadly. I don't think it's coming as Yvette stated. Jay has those performances in July and I don't see her releasing before he does those. But who knows.
