I think it's safe to say she's not a Taylor-level Easter egg person, but she doesn't do anything without intention. The dress certainly calls back to the Renaissance cover, and I'm sure the skeleton is a factor in the next act as well.

That said, people who saw her doing the horns symbol for Houston and ran with "She's signaling rock and roll!" and analyzing every little move are in active psychosis. Some of those theory accounts are genuinely unhinged and I think they're poisoning the well and making Hive on social media delusional.

She looked beautiful - it's not my fave MET gala look of hers, but it's up there. I really loved her hair and make up, and the feathery cape was stunning.

There is something about this look that reminds me of the VMA 2016 look (aside from the obvious feathers and see-through material).

Also, of course Blue isn't stunned by the cameras - she's grown up in front of them!

I've said it before but I find it really odd that Vogue released its May cover less than 3 after its April cover when they're doing less issues this year. So maybe they adjusted the release schedule for an early Summer issue release? (optimistic)

The Met gala appearance was promo for act 3 lol. These stunts is to build up anticipation before she release. I think what she is doing is smart. It clearly has the hive on their toes which is the point.

this was sending me all last night. some people are so dumb, she literally did the hand gesture in response to someone from the press asking her to throw her H's up for Houston.

yes I think, in a way, this is repeating Cowboy Carter promo. besides her going to Grammy's in the cowboy hat, I'm drawing parallels between her showing up at the Super Bowl at all.

her Met Gala appearance is like her showing up at the Super Bowl, sitting in that stadium all nonchalant.

I think we'll have some grand reveal soon — like the Verizon commercial. I refuse to believe she decided to show up and generate headlines all in vain.

The three lemons in her hand for the Lemonade aniversary WERE intentional, dont be dense.

She aint no Taylor Swift (THANK GOD!), but she CLEARLY also knows how to play the media AND us. Thats why we are still here after 25+ years. Dont downplay her acumen to randomness like that. Seeds are planted - some of them overt, some of them covert. We certainly feel the rumbling of sth coming because SHE activated it. Thats why the base has been popping for the last 2 weeks again.

With May 29th barely three weeks away, I'm inclined to believe so, too.

Tbh, it's not impossible that the album is coming with visuals around Halloween. They have a vaguely dark, creepy vibe from what we have seen, and rock music at Halloween makes sense.

But then again, she'd probably want act iii to come without visuals, too, given the press release around Renaissance.
