Xtina's voice is stronger than ever. Other vocal legends already had their voices diminish greatly at X's age but not her! Why?

Well it's not like she's been using it a lot. She hasn't toured in ... 2 decades? She hasn't released an album in one decade? All she's done since idk, 2011 is a couple of vegas shows if I remember correctly and the singing competition tv show

 

So yeah, she's done her best to preserve it and I guess it worked!

It's indeed impressive because she's been criticized for so long for her lack of vocal discipline and proper technique and despite that, her voice is even stronger now than in her 20s.

Has she been singing a lot this past decade?

I mean...I don't think she's can hit a lot of the notes she used to in songs like Fighter, Lady Marmalade, etc, but she's singing more in her comfortable range these days which is good!

Probably doesn't overindulge on the wine and ciggies like her peers.

Because she is a Goddess and her talent is immortal. It's a different  process from the humans.

But she has intermittently lost her voice throughout her career. She had to cancel several concert dates during the Stripped era because of vocal damage.

Lack of stadium touring?

I think what has happened in recent years is that she has actually tightened up on discipline and maintenance of her vocal health, something she should have been during from the beginning but young singers always believe their gift is invincible until they are reminded that the voice is a muscle and an instrument that should be taken care of, especially seeing as you only get one voice. It also helps that she's not as busy so more time for vocal rest.

I do believe that she was drinking drinking at one point because you heard the dryness and hollowness in her singing. It was during that Bionic/Burlesque period when she was getting divorced. She was going through a lot so I'm not judging her for it.

She ran the long game. While her peers were in demand and touring, grossing 100M+ per tour/residency, she was doing the least, waiting for them to tucker out so she could rise to the top.

 

Vocal preservation is excellent. Kudos to Miss Xtina. The strategy paid off

She doesn't use it much? She hasn't been able to tour in decades.

 

She also hardly releases music.

To be fair, she is close to her 50's now and your voice does age so she probably can't but that happens with pretty much any vocalist as they age. Carrie Underwood can't hit notes she use to hit back when she was on Idol, either.
