  1. If you put him in the oven, he would be
  2. My ranking so far like i do kiss me oh well hate that i made you love me freak petal stay nowhere, nobody bad thing (bunny hop) warning signs (interlude) never get over me big feelings No matter how many times I listen to the album, I can't remember what "never get over me" sounds like and I don't like "big feelings", I had to mute it on Spotify...
  3. ghostin everytime my hair The Way the boy is mine warning signs (interlude) Break Your Heart Right Back Leave Me Lonely
  4. They're both Bottom 3 on their respective parent album so yes, I can hear it
  5. While it's cool when our faves get critically acclaimed song or album, my own opinion is what matters to me at the end of the day. And to be honest, I wouldn't listen to 95% of what I listen to if I cared about critics.
  6. hate that i made you love me petal like i do oh well bunny hop
  7. She should've released the album when CHANEL was smashing...
  8. And I'm sure that her posting this under Ariana's own post is going to help...
  9. Same here. I've listened to the album 5 or 6 times so far and I just can't get into it. I only tolerate it because it's sandwiched between two of my favorite tracks.
  10. The live performance of "like i do" is so GOOOOD
  11. In terms of melody, "never get over me" reminds me a lot of "past life". Also, no "oh well" slander is allowed in this house. You can drag "big fillers" all you want though.
  12. YOU. NEED. ME. LIKE. I. YOU. CAUSE NO ONE FUCKS. YOU. LIKE. I. DO.
  13. "like i do is SOTY, why ?"
  14. like i do, OMG I've listened to the album twice so far, and I like everything besides "big feelings" and "never let you go".
  15. The criticism is not about the lack of belts or high notes. It's the constant whispering... Tracks like "oh well" or "bunny hop" for instance would've sounded so much better had she sung them with her chest register.
  16. This album has something her older albums used to lack : clean and immaculate production. But this album lacks something her older albums have : vocals... I was so excited when bunny hop started playing... then she started ******* whispering. The tracks I liked after my first listen : stay, oh well, freak and nowhere nobody.
  17. self-penned* Usually, self-written would mean that the artist wrote both the lyrics AND the melody on their own.
  18. I have to go to work Can't wait to finally listen
  19. To this day, I'm still mad this bop is not a real song.
  20. My pre-Petal album ranking (+ my 3 favorite tracks) thank u, next (ghostin, fake smile, needy) Positions (love language, my hair, 34+35) eternal sunshine (yes and?, eternal sunshine, supernatural) Sweetener (everytime, R.E.M, goodnight n go) My Everything (Only 1, Break Free, Problem lol) Dangerous Woman (Be Alright, Greedy, Into You) Yours Truly (Daydreamin', Popular Song, Right There)
  21. There's a reason she's been constantly talking about mental health for a few years now and that her music is about "healing". She always mentions her therapist every chance she gets during interviews or even award speeches so I'm sure she's aware and getting all the help she needs. But I guess it's a very long process and the journey to recovery is going to take time. As a fan, I'm worried too but the only thing we can do is wish her well. Commenting on her body all the time is not helping at all.
