It's time to stop this madness and i think about finasteride. Any experiences with that medicine, side effects, real effects?

could have just been timing, but I got depressed and lost my libido

i did it once and got £2000 out of a guy and didn't even have to meet him . he just wanted me to call him and tell him stuff like how he's a worthless pig and his money belongs to me . i would sneak out of my mum's house and go into the woods behind our house at night to phone him and just scream at him to send me £50 amazon giftcards and he would . he disappeared after a month and i went to track him down and found out he was just a Burger King employee , no judgement but that's a very expensive kink for a fast food worker :thing:

I've been using it along with minoxidil and dermarolling. I haven't seen any results. I think my hairline actually got worse :rip:

The hairline allegedly starts to shed before new growth happens. I feel like the same thing is happening to me :rip:

I'm on dutasteride (have been for 3 years or so) and I've had literally no side effects other than testicular pain during the first two weeks, I can't confirm or deny if it had any effects on my mental health as I was already depressed when I started taking them, but they did stop hair loss!

yes, it does...you shed a lot of hair a few weeks in

I take a finasteride/minoxidil compound pill every day it's amazing. That and the CECRED drops are amazing. I started them mostly as a precaution but the cecred drops have me growing hair in places I swear I never had before.

Dutasteride took my libbido down a bit, like no more random horny. Also I kinda gained weight on my chest/belly area so I stopped. Gonna keep on my topical minoxidil / oral pumpkin seed oil pill with my caffeine and ortiga shampoos.

I took dutasteride for a year and it started giving me horrible cystic acne. :rip: I came off it a few months ago so I'm going to try to get back on it(or finasteride) with a different dosing schedule.

i'm on it and i never felt anything adverse. my hair looks great

i don't know any of these products. but i was watching Matthew McConaughey recently, Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre  (from 1995) the film is shit though he's really hot, but you can already notice this thinning hairline in his early 20s, then i saw another one of his Tiptoes (from 2003), also shit film but his thinning hairline is more noticeable, understandable given the 8 year gap, then in Magic Mike  (2012), and suddenly he's got a full head of hair? Apparently he claimed to be using Regenix and never had hair transplant. I call shenanigans.

I was about to ask if the pill made your body more hairy overall :deadbanana2: That's kinda what's putting me off from oral minoxidil

What does this have to do with finasteride :deadbanana4:

I've taken finasteride for years with zero adverse effects

been on it for 3 years now, i don't have any noticable side effects

My boyfriend uses it & hasn't had a loss in libido or any other side effects & it does actually work!

I started it preventatively years ago. A doctor told me I was crazy since I hadn't started losing hair. Anyway, I still haven't lost any hair. Who knows if it's because of the medicine, but I'm very pleased.

No side effects. I know half a dozen guys who take it, and none of them have side effects either.

Not really. My facial hair/body hair definitely grows a little bit faster but not thicker. I didn't notice hair growth in brand new spots until I started using the cecred drops on my temples (and it's centralized to there) The pills definitely take longer to start working but I'd rather take a pill everyday than deal with the topical stuff.

I've been on the pills for a little over a year now and it's amazing. I get them through Hims and it's only like $200 a year. Definitely worth it.
