I think anger at our healthcare system is at an all time high and I don't see there being that pushback happening this time around (i.e. see the Luigi Mangione response). The fact that Trump couldn't get rid of Obamacare because of the backlash says it all. El-Sayed is winning over Trump voters at this point almost solely on his messaging around healthcare.

Why would voters punish them when two thirds of the US favor Medicare for All? Anyone not running on healthcare is going to have a problem in the primary.
