Both albums are major reinventions for Madonna and Mariah; one album was showing less skin (Bedtime Stories) and one was showing more skin than usual (Butterfly)

Butterfly for all HOWEVER Bedtime Stories is a top 5 Madonna album for me so it was a close one :clap3:

    It is both safe and sonically a reinvention for her I guess. Janet's 1993 album doing well likely had an influence on her going for that sound.

    I might be a little biased as I have a strong attachment to Butterfly but Mimi for everything hands down.

    I can't stand Madonna's voice on this album so Mariah. She always sounded like trying to be TLC so hard on this album:rip:

    some songs on Bedtime Stories I love but overall I don't like it that much. Butterfly on the other hand is one of my favourite albums ever so that wins for best album for me.

    Literally can't decide, I love both so much.

    Honey is my favorite Mariah song by far but Bedtime Stories is just too good :WAP:

    I adore Bedtime Stories, but Butterfly is just that good.

    Butterfly for all, but Love Tried To Welcome Me is top-tier Madoo song, so I'll give some props. :clap3:

    BS is the better album but Honey alone is better than anything on both albums.

     

    Overall, Madonna wins.

    I love Butterfly (check the avi), but Bedtime Stories is tattooed on my arm. That album cannot be topped.
