I'm starting to believe that she won't reach number 1 on the BB200 for her debut.

I love the original Imaginary Players and this is amazing. When Doja made Scarlet and with the arrival of Doechii, the girls are bringing back 90s Hip-Hop. She kind of slid on this! It's my favourite song of hers since Big Paper and ik she has some fire from the snippets she shared as well

This really gives smooth album track, but she needs a more radio friendly single to smash.

If it's just Morgan Wallen and Sabrina isn't doing over 150k in her 4th week I think she could reach #1

I love this!! Pure hip hop nostalgia when I hear this beat plus she really rapping on this track.

Outside just returned to the top 200 of Apple Music, but the new song isn't charting yet???

She should have no problem securing 150k  Only if something drastic happens will she lose the #1

BG want to scream "ThE bArBz " than admit Cardi made another song where, for the majority, she's struggling to catch the beat. 
 

One thing this song has done though has opened conversation about Cardi and her music so I think it might've not been the worst idea to release it but definitely shouldn't have been promoted with a MV and hyped so much. 

This is going to be the smash of the Fall fr. My manager at work heard me watching the video and then asked the song. Then hours later, right before our team meeting, she played it (since they play some music as everyone is getting settled in). People on our team of all ages & races were bopping to it while sitting down and grabbing their coffee.
 

I think people were just thirsty & begging for that 90s real rap vibes & Cardi delivered.

I just, don't know. I think her pregnancies may have changed her voice permanently or something.... there's something so off about her delivery for the past few singles.

It's not the same anymore at all... it sounds like she's reading off a script... it lacks confidence.

 

Compare this another slow song (Wild Side), or her 'classic' rap features (PIODFA/Tomorrow2), like something has legit changed.

Good luck to her and the rest of this rollout.. quite frankly, as long as she gets the #1 album I don't think she would care how this album is even received.

Real hip-hop heads recognize real hip-hop. That's a fact and if you don't get it maybe it's not meant for you! That's okay btw! This is a smash and the pen game is fire 

I don't wanna sound pretentious or anything but she's no Foxy Brown that's for sure

there has to be some sort of glitch on AM. like how isn't this charting anywhere? is it actually flopping that badly

honestly i fw with Belcalis just by virtue of how good her ear for hits is, but this feels like the first big miss in her singles discography  something about her vocal tone and inflection does not work with a slower beat (it just sounds so unpleasant).

I like it but not very commercial , I guess shes not really going for that for this album,

I think Outside and IP are worth pre-release

Then album release with the pop song or have the GP decide. A mainstream song is going to have more longevity along with the album.

 

Having two urban hip hop hits leading in this year is good.

 

I have a feeling she also wanted to put out two solo songs as she might release future poppier songs with big. features for the remaining singles.

 

I think it might be a good idea to have the hype of the album and songs release week. It helped IOP keep streams steady which had Bartier Cardi released after Bodak Yellow.

I do think a pop song was the safer choice but cardi doesnt seem to really.

We don't need a Bongos but a Ring even would be cute at this point. Just something catchy enough for the teens/tiktok gen (and doesn't need a tiktok challenge).
