Where does Miley go from here?

Featured Replies

Following the showing of her latest album.

The record was heavily promoted with a series of promo and official singles, all of which were featured prominently on TTH and other big playlists. Miley did numerous interviews, meet and greets, and released multiple visuals. A film was also released. Billboards adorned Times square. After debuting with less than 45k copies in week one, the album, in it's second week, sits outside the top 100 of the chart and will likely disappear in one or two more weeks.

I have to ask, where does Miley go from here? Can she comeback with another Flowers or does this really signify the end for her as a commercial force ?

Will she even continue to release music ? She clearly poured herself into this album and for it to be so universally rejected by the GP must be tough on her.

I feel like it's time to understand that she doesn't give a f*** about chart performance for a while now

She's a legend, she's already in all of us all the time.

It's so easy to claim that once someone starts to flop. Yet the investment in spotify and radio suggests otherwise.

Milk the people in their 30s with Hannah Montana nostalgia

Plastic Hearts 2.0 or something Hannah Montana inspired (give us The Climb 2.0)

The same handful of users trying their hardest to shove Miley's flop numbers down our throats :rip:

She doesn't care, she's making the music she wants, and she will continue doing that whether she debuts with 200k or 20k. Let it go.

keep making great albums? :rip:  Obviously she doesn't care about commercial success anymore and just releases passion projects so idk why we still keep trying to hold her to that standard

She had her biggest hit of all time not too long ago and didn't even bother to promote it lmaoooo (or the album)

I hope she isn't too bothered by numbers and keeps making new things and exploring new genres cause the new album is SO GOOD

Become a touring artist and rebuild her fanbase. She's an amazing performer and she shot herself in both feet by not touring!

Hopefully she experiments even further. I don't even think Something Beautiful is this strange experimental hard-to-get album, but it's ambitious (Especially compared to the snoozefest Flowers was on). She might make me a fan if she keeps on being adventurous a bit.

So many stans think it's over when the numbers stop being huge, but that's when the fun actually starts.

hahah jk but not every project is supposed to be a commercially hit, and Miley had years of this performance before. not every release will be a Wrecking Ball or a Flowers

Release a country album with Dolly Parton so she can win the Best Traditional Country Album Grammy

From her i would love:

-Rock Record but instead of a 70s-80s i would love something more akin to Pop Punk-Garage Rock-Nu Metal. Very late 90s-2000s rock band
-Country record....A proper country-folk record with  good songwriting and producers this time. Younger Now was too pastiche and weak-mid
-Something experimental again.......i dont think it would be a good decision commercially wise but it would be good for her artistry
-Miley goin electro, techno,,hyperpop, something unhinged and new.  Something never seen before in the charts. Bringin a new sound to the charts. Less manufactured than cant be tamed

NO:
Urban record : The controversy would be too much even if the albums is far classier than bangerz and only r&b.. Lets not forget how she was destroyed by the appropiation thing
Psychedelic Record. I didnt like dead petz. So not here for another weird album like that :sorry: Capturadepantalla2025-03-27234723.thumb.
