  1. I have to come back on this forum after a while just because I'm genuinely so gagged at how good this is. It truly feels like she remembered who the hell she is and why her fans actually love her after a streak of questionable choices. This is sleek, cool, and artistic without being either pretentious or trendhoppy. I'll be replaying this a lot. My favorites on first listen are One Step Away, Love Without Words and My Sins Are My Savior for sure, the latter being sooooo Erotica. The 90s are my favorite Madonna decade and a lot of moments in there took me back to that era. I loved it. My only gripe is the album title, because this feels like its own different thing, but I'll get over it easily.
  2. Everyone getting to listen and I can't until tomorrow morning. I'm claiming a I'm Actually Kinda Jesus and Old Fling$ top 2.
  3. They were always corny, to be fair. Also this. Trying to drop a 'I'm just like you regular people and I struggle too' song in this climate is tone deaf and just makes you look stupid. No, you're not like me.
  4. You're more present than me in Charli threads and my username literally has XCX in it. Are you done? OT: I do agree that there's some inconsistencies in the mixing, but overall I adore this. Very fresh direction after Brat. Funny Mouth and My Reminder are favorites for sure. They're magical. Hopefully when she's done being in 400 different movies she'll explore the Funny Mouth/House sound even more. She does it well.
  5. She's serving the best music of her career and she can't even put it on streaming. Y'all can choke @RepublicRecords @GracieAbrams.
  6. Thank God. I can't do 500$ concert tickets. Bring back the 50$ tickets I got for the Charli Tour in 2019.
  7. A lot of Björk album covers are very good at conveying the sound of their respective music, but I'll say Homogenic since other users have already mentioned Post and Vespertine. For a bit of a deeper cut, this cover just always made perfect sense to me. Sweet and very pretty but also cinematic, almost looks like a movie screengrab. The pink and purple tones fit perfectly with the music to me.
  8. This thread is absolutely sending me. I hope Ca$hier is a surprise guest so they do Till the Lord Whens Remix together.
  9. The thing with Hard Candy is that it does have a lot of good songs (Miles Away is a classic), but the bad moments are BAD (Incredible and Spanish Lesson). It is hated because it kinda symbolizes the decline of her material, but it's still better than the albums that followed.
  10. PRISN is a classic. Someone also mentioned it but Fatte Female is so goddamn stupid and it makes me cackle. Shoutout to the Nekci Menij show.
  11. Girl she's BEEN gone to that side. It's time to move on. Trust, as someone who used to adore M.I.A., it sucks, but let's face the truth a little. Horrible values aside, this is the corniest tweet I've ever seen.
  12. I'm Gen Z and I adore this. What a random comment, lol.
