The way you can tell it was a positive review but can't necessarily pinpoint what he liked about the song lol

Hammer is cute! I like all 3 songs actually. I think it's going to be great as a whole album. People looking for big pop singles from her have always been ?? to me, she's never been that girl. 

I was bored when it start but then when the Beat drops I was like Yassss Lorde.

 

So far all 3 songs sound very different, wondering what could be the album sound

i love the songs but lorde shouldn't be releasing singles. she should just release the whole album at once like billie

I only like the lead single what was that... the rest was boring and lacked energy just regular lorde ...she needs to evolve sonically and change her persona a bit its a bit redundant and been there done that already...

i really hope the rest of the album goes on a melodically weirder route after this... i really like it! probs my fave pre-release

Probably her best music video yet. 

 

And I don't understand some of the reactions here. What kind of a sonic landscape were you people expecting after the fluke that Solar Power was? You can never satisfy some people.. 

This is definitely the strongest offering from the album so far. I think Hammer puts WWT and MOTY into perspective and makes me appreciate them even more… 
 

Everyone has different takes on her music/evolution but in my opinion, this sounds like the baby of Solar and PH, which are my fav albums of hers by far  Quite hype for the full record to drop.
