8 years ago Dua Lipa released her iconic and successful debut album:

This album introduced to the music industry one of the biggest female artists of the last years.

It was a successful album in countries from Europe, Oceania, Asia and America.

It spawned multiple Hits like "New Rules", "IDGAF" and "Be The One" that smashed in the Top 10 of different worldwide charts.

Dua Lipa released the "Complete Edition" incluiding multiple Hits like "One Kiss", "Scared To Be Lonely", "No Lie" and "Electricty" becoming the 2nd most streamed female album of all time on Spotify.

The era has over +110 awards incluiding 2 GRAMMY, 3 BRITS, 1 Bambi Award and 2 EMAS.

Do you still listening this masterpiece and what is your favorite song?

I used to gatekeep her during this era, but I always knew she was going to be big :clap3:

I'm not the biggest fan of this album, nor I use it except for singles, but these are strong. The era was great though, all these performances she did were phenomenal. And it gave us the iconic go girl give us nothing meme. :clap3:

Electricity, Lost In Your Light, and Last Dance are my faves. I'm mad at the Miguel duet not making any waves, it's such a fun, good single tbh. I'm tired of Be The One though, it's overplayed to death where I live.

amazing debut album with so many great, catchy pop singles. i remember watching the New Rules MV when it came out and knowing that it was going to be a hit. she made the summer of 2017 :clap3:

A very solid, enjoyable debut. Nothing more, nothing less :clap3:And a few great singles of cljrse6... Not to mention, Genesis remains near the top of her discog for me.. Should have been called Genesis, in fact!

I don't understand why this album is so disliked. It's such a strong effort & entry!

I love this album from front to back. One of the best debut albums in my book.

One of the best albums of all time. Solid debut. I remember when I was introduced to her. The tour version of Bad Together and Dreams live on forever for me   May the original version of Want To also live on :sosad:

Through her I found friendship and a loss of friendship :sosad:

Let's not forget what the album covers almost were.... (warning: jumpscare)

All the giffable moments from the Last  Dance video :toofunny2::toofunny2::toofunny2::toofunny2:]

When some of her best work was unreleased :jonny4:the world never deserved Want To

I remember being SO mad at her scrapping Bad Together, Dreams, Want To and Running from the standard tracklist lmao, great debut with some filler tracks, but she serve THEE mainstream pop album of the 2015-17 from the european pop girlies

Well hello, let's celebrate to that!

"Begging" is still a 10/10 and "Last Dance", you'll always be famous, at least in this household.

The superior tour version intro not being used for Dreams and Bad Together pissed me off so bad :jonnycat:

Ppl showing taste w "No Goodbyes" mentions :clap3: There was a compilation video of Samuel x Carla scenes in Elite season 2, using "No Goodbyes" as background music. I used to love that video a lot. NG is like the unofficial song of Carmuel for me I guess haha :chick1:

So nostalgic   Some songs sound a little dated now, but they'll always be good to me because of the memories. I remember seeing her in a 1500 capacity venue before the album came out and tonight i'm seeing her in a sold out 15.000 capacity venue :WAP:

Still traumatised by that endless roll out tho

My favourite Dua album :WAP:

I didn't get into this album till 2020 not long before her 2nd album and was disappointed I didn't hear it sooner. It has so many amazing tracks like not one skip tbh

I haven't listened to the album in full for a while, but it's a solid body of work. It also includes my favorite song of hers.

I am not a fan of the 'Complete Edition' though, it makes the album feel a little bloated. She should've released that as an EP afterwards.

Wish I could go back and listen to this for the first time all over again :weeps:

I didn't really enjoy this album outside of the singles (which to be fair is about half of the tracklist). Last Dance, Be The One, Blow My Mind and Hotter Than Hell are all great though. I don't use New Rules or IDGAF anymore but I enjoyed them at the time.

Begging needed to be a single tbh but I was locked in since I heard Hotter Than Hell and I've been stanning ever since. :jonny:

I know this is an unpopular opinion but I don't like how she disrespects IDGAF, it's a fun break up bop and it's nearing 2B streams as well, she should put it back on the setlist

Yeah but like IDGAF was a last minute addition to the album, added for sales.
