After Taylor's big announcement today, what is your favorite Taylor's Version vault? Mine is Speak Now.

All of them are trash.

3. Fearless

4. 1989

i listened to them all for last year's rate and my memory says they were all pretty good except 1989 which, aside from 'is it over now', was a bit of a barrel scrape

Speak Now.

 

Timeless is the crowning glory of the Taylor's Versions saga.

Foolish One might be the single best vault song though. 

Speak Now's vault is consistently excellent, Red's vault has several high highs and a few low lows, 1989's vault is a consistent 7/10, and Fearless' vault contains two decent songs, three mediocre songs, and one of the worst songs she's ever released

Red easily but Speak Now's vault was decent. The other two kind of suck. 

Speak Now / 1989 

Red would win for All Too Well (10 Minute Version) alone. But it also has Nothing New, I Bet You Think About Me, Forever Winter, Babe, and Better Man. Even the silly pop songs are fun and the new Ed collab is cute (even if redundant). That vault is stacked and nothing is touching it.

 

I'd say 1989 is the second best, followed by Speak Now. Fearless only has Mr. Perfectly Fine.

1989 clears 

Red felt like a moment. Better Man, Message In A Bottle, All Too Well…Girl At Home getting the Kris Jenner deluxe face lift. She even gave us Safe & Sound like…what more could you ask for.

 

Every other vault album just came and went.

Red because it contains "Message in a Bottle".

I dont remember a single vault song 

I would rank them in the order they were released tbh.

 

EDIT: Oh, I thought it's the TV as a whole. If it's just the vault tracks, I'd rank them:

 

Red > 1989 > SN > Fearless

Yall saying Speak Now is consistently excellent when it has the duds Pannedstles Crumbling and Electric Fart  (Timeless and Foolish One are excellent though). 

 

Red is the best - you can clearly discern why certain songs were left off in favor of others, and her adult vocals sound excellent. The lyrics add to the story of how she was feeling at the time which checks out with the rest of the record's tone.  1989s are also pretty great - though Now That We Don't Talk deserved a bridge/final chorus. Funny how obsessed/heartbroken she actually was with Harry. 

Fearless' are solid, and although I like Don't You, there's no way those synths would've made sense in 2008.

quality-wise it's Red but my fav is 1989
