COADF keeps a consistent structure and sound palette. It works cause it's well refined but you can tell Stuart and Madonna have learned a lot since then. Confessions II feels way more ambitious. You hear pieces of her past albums, new sounds, new structures, and she fully delivered on the dance aspect without restricting herself from tapping into other genres. COADF is a solid dance album that deserves its flowers but Confessions II is really something monumental.
