As some users said above, what was notable about the investors is that there weren't any bio/medicine-experienced people, nor traditional VCs so the due diligence was just not there. Obviously she should be punished but is it not also their fault because they weren't forceful enough in demanding evidence?? I think what y'all are missing with Jay's involvement is that he has (likely) pushed non-white artists to get the gig, and many from hip-hop/rap, who probably would have not gotten the chance previously. Every HT headliner has been a POC since he took over (other than Eminem); that is a huge benefit to having someone like Jay in the role.

I agree that Taylor's tactics in the MIdnights era were insane, but owning music is absolutely also not necessary If fans want to buy 132423 vinyl variants, they are free to do so in a free market (and the rich fans, or at least ones that have enough disposable income are the ones who will). If Taylor senses a demand, why not get more sales?
