Shapeshifter is not far behind. Perhaps her label/team dropped the ball on that one, which just missed out on making the Hot 100, and charted in NZ, UK and Ireland.

 

The fact that both songs (and Favourite Daughter) are getting more daily streams than two of the pre-release singles, makes me think that a different single strategy might have worked better.

 

But perhaps it doesn't matter, Slate does quite a good job here, a lot better than some reviewers who count for Metacritic.

They could probably add two, maybe three songs and still fit them all on one vinyl LP, but so far all we have is her saying:

It might make sense if they're holding the songs back for the tour, except the Ultrasound World Tour is pretty much sold out, so they don't need more tracks to promote the tour. Perhaps they are holding them back for the awards season, or when they are needed to keep the album on the charts a bit longer. But did she even say that the tracks were finished? I guess the one they cut last minute must be 90% produced and almost ready to go.

Possible number of tracks that could go on a deluxe vinyl.

The ELLE story suggests they spit up around September 2023, but I think it was a couple of months earlier, before her series of European festival appearances in August 2023. September is just when she mentioned it in her email (edited for clarity).

But I think they split up a month or two before September 2023 which is what the ELLE story suggests, that was just when she mentioned it in her email.

 

To be honest I don't know much about her personal stuff but thanks for sharing this cause I didn't get some lyrics and even some songs but this will help in some cases

I've been watching the Glastonbury performance again, such a great show.

 

I noticed they didn't appear to have a proper live drummer, although the keyboard player that has been with her since the Pure Heroine era was there. Ben Barter (drums) who has also been with her since Pure Heroine and Ray Suen who was with the Melodrama and Solar Power tours weren't there, but they could be back for the tour in September.

People are being harsh on this just because it's not Melodrama, but the whole record is genius from start to finish.
