None of these are confirmed and the label aren't financing a music video unless the song has a chance of being a hit.

David is a great album closer, but it wouldn't work as a single, certainly not a radio single.

Shapeshifter might have been a missed opportunity, just missing out on the Hot 100, but charting in NZ, UK and Ireland.

 

There might be some more promo, depending on whether they are going to chase awards or not. She probably has a better chance of nomination at the BRIT awards than the Grammys, where BPVA nominees and winners usually need to have a big hit single attached to them.

 

There is no need to promote to sell out the tour, but I'm sure there will be some promotion while she is touring.

I think most of the shows are already sold out, or 90% sold out.

 

I'm pretty sure the Glastonbury performance isn't going to be her only festival appearance this era, but perhaps there won't be any more until 2026.

They are probably on the way back home now and Lorde will probably be focusing on getting ready for the tour starting in one month.

Quick update on Virgin streams copy+paste from the Receipts thread:
Virgin now has about 288 million Spotify streams in less than 2 months since the album release in late June 2025. In comparison, Solar Power was released in August 2021 and did not pass 280 million streams until February 2022, six months after the album release.

Album is solid. could've been tighter with this track listing. Clearblue and grwn are fillers imo.

i absolutely hear the Britney influences/references on wwt, current affairs and broken glass. 

I found the album very boring on first listen but now it became my fave of hers. Easily one of my albums of the summer

lorde and i are only a couple months apart so there's a certain timeliness to all her releases for me. on top of that she has a rich sense of poetics (rich yet spare!!) that i just can't get enough of. this is one of my favorite albums of the year and i'm still so hooked on it  icon ****

This is within two months of album release, or 122 days if you want to count from the lead single release date. This compares with 498 days for all tracks to reach 10 million streams for Solar Power.

I kinda get the low streams for Hammer, because if you're a casual listener hearing the intro for the first time, it might sound like quite a harsh electronic sound and some people might just skip. The intro sounds great listening on headphones to get the stereo panning effect, but if that wasn't the way you first heard the track, you might not add to your playlist.

 

Also, the video being age restricted video didn't help much, so being a single didn't help as much if people didn't see the video.
