There is a common misconception that all datacenters are the same, but this is not the case. In a traditional datacenter, there might be a database and in most systems, some type of web interface where you request the data you want, a photo on Instagram, a song on Spotify, or a search result on Google. The rest is I/O, delivering the content from a disk to the user. The processing requirements are not particularly high. In an AI datacenter, you are not simply requesting data, you are asking the AI datacenter to create the content for you. In other genres it can be worse. To the best of my knowledge, only one UK Grime artist has won a Grammy, and that was as a featured artist in the dance/electronic genre. That is probably part of it.
