Dolly isn't as big in Philippines as she is in the US.

But I kept reading her name here from @CountryFriedChick and have known more about her when I started stanning Taylor.

It's a shame they never got to sing together. It would've been a dream come true for shared fans.

I was, naturally, going through Dolly's most classic songs last night. What an amazing artist/philanthropist she was. 9 to 5 is such a classic, and of course, I Will Always Love You. I made sure to read Taylor's tribute to her out loud to my brother and parents during our 20- 30 min Dolly reflection last night. RIP.

Honestly, with all the recent talks about songwriting, I can't help but imagine TS13 will propose something really different and elevated from what we can expect from her. It really sounds like she's being so geeky about songwriting (I mean, more than usual) so it kinda feels like she's getting super excited about something. The last time we heard her like this was for folklore which was a commitment to a new approach to her songwriting.

Or maybe I'm just creating a fantasy in my head. But I like this fantasy so I'm gonna continue believing it. We desperately need a 180 after Showgirl.

I watched her interview and thought "oh, she's mastered the three separate songs interweaving, she's writing a soundtrack to her movie". She's going to do that thing where you have three separate arcs that manage to tie into a totally different song when played together. We can all clown.

Every time she's tried to be accessible, she's ended up being inaccessible to both fans and the general public (Lover, TLOAS), whenever she's taken risks, she's always brought out the best in herself (Red, 1989, Folklore+Evermore); so, I hope it's something risky.
