Yes, I love Loverboy. It still isn't touching Underneath The Stars though, which is her best song and deserved to be the hit ABMB was.

Two things can be true: ATRL continues to prove they live in a bubble by claiming Jay-Z doesn't have the hits/recognizable songs to do a HT show, and him essentially 'choosing himself' is super messy.

Now why would you set Mariah up like this? She has so many amazing dance/house remixes you could've used. She ain't winning this, though. It's Not Right is legendary, honestly.

Nah, Rated R is still her best work by far, and the least dated. I will say Unapologetic is a bit underrated, at least here on ATRL. There's some skips, but there's some real gems on there, too. It definitely sounds of its time though, and there's nothing wrong with that.

You'll See is the generic Celine clone but you think I'll Remember is her best 90's song? OT: not even close. It's a good song, but far from her best 90's work. Anything on Bedtime Stories could take that title, but Rain (my fave Madonna song) also deserves a mention.

I think the issue here is him being gay and claiming he's unaware of Madonna's impact on pop music and culture. If he were some rando straight dude in his late twenties then sure, he might not know much beyond who she is and maybe a song. But there's no way you're a gay guy over age twenty (which he clearly is) and don't know Madonna and her impact, even if you're not personally that into her catalog. She's on the Mount Rushmore of gay icons. This very much gives trying to be "different" just for the sake of it, and it's so exhausting within the community tbh.

I don't see a problem with her letting fans "sing" the chorus of some of her hits tbh, but the way she addressed this kind of comes off as insufferable. She shouldn't have addressed it at all; the fact is she does sing live more than nearly all of our faves, and she should just let that speak for itself. The videos I saw basically said she sounded so good that they were disappointed she didn't sing more of her hits the way she did everything else. That's…not that harsh. People/fans are allowed to comment on the product you put out. Something about her attitude recently has just been not it at all, what is her deal?

The red carpet look is in her top 5 of all time, absolutely stunning. I actually didn't like her performance look, though. The dress looked like it fit her weird and the material looked cheap. Plus, I wish she hadn't put on the red lip because it clashed.

Y'all are so ****ing dramatic, especially when it's that point in the cycle when y'all decide to hate someone (again). She literally sounds fine. It's a bit jarring of an arrangement for Ophelia and it doesn't translate well, but she didn't sound horribly off, and the rest of the performances sound fine.
